Waterton Lakes National Park has a some great winter trails for cross-country skiing for skiers of all levels, with the groomed area leading to Cameron Lake Day Use Area. Start your drive on the scenic Akamina Parkway for approximately 15 kilometres, and be prepared for winter driving conditions. Park at the Little Prairie parking area and cross-country ski or walk roughly 1.5 kilometres into Cameron Lake.
