Outdoor Activities in Alberta
"Keep close to Nature's heart... and break clear away, once in a while,
and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods.
Wash your spirit clean." - John Muir
Uplift Adventures offers several winter and summer outdoor activities in Waterton Lakes National Park, Castle Provincial Parks, and Crowsnest Pass, Alberta.
We definte our activities as tours orĀ trips:
Tours are activities designed for people who really want to learn about an area through culture, history, or nature. Our tours are developed programs designed to be interactive and immersive, and great for all ages. We define tours as being more of an experience versus an adventure. Most tours are rated as easy.
TripsĀ are activities designed for people who want to explore and participants may still want to hear information about the area, but their primary focus is to adventure in the mountains. Trips can range in difficulty from easy to advanced.
We operate year-round and you can find our summer and winter activities below.

"I went with my nieces on a guided hike up to Southfork Lakes with Uplift Adventures. It was truly amazing. Julie was so wonderful. We talked about the plants along the trail, she helped us navigate down the trail - this was the first hike I've done scree on a hike and was apprehensive coming down (it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be), she offered assistance to tape up bad ankles and knees, gave us mental support on the hike, I just can't say enough. The hike itself was challenging for me which is what I wanted. I was able to create memories with my nieces which was the point of the trip. The views were spectacular. We had lunch at the first lake, the lunch provided was tasty and satisfying - lots of food. I am looking forward to more adventures with Uplift."
